CV of Experience - community centre refurbishment, Central London

YOUTH CENTRE
REFURBISHMENT
Coram's Fields, London

with Theis and Khan Architects

Project size:
3 storey listed building
approximate 300m2 / 3300sqft

Completion: 2007

A grade 2 listed community centre within the grounds of Coram's Fields park required stripping out and redesign for the provision of modern, fun facilities for socially deprived young people in the area. The new design creates opportunities to meet, learn IT and living skills and be able to access art and music room facilities.

Michelle was the project leader for the architecture team from planning through to construction phases. She thoroughly enjoyed working with both the management/client and young people at the centre to develop this scheme.
